If you've ever checked out my Tumblr page you would know that I'm always bragging about my community. Well now I'm going to do it on here.

Tonight my friend and I were honored to attend an event at the Columbus Museum of Art honoring those who participated in the CMA Photo Hunt. In 2012, CMA was the first museum in the world to gather photographs from instagram users for an exhibit.

 While none of my photos were selected for the final display this time, I was happy I was asked to attend because I met so many talented individuals. And it was nice to put a face with some of the amazing photos I have seen the past few months.

What was really exciting was the preliminary announcement that there will another photo hunt project beginning in October. More details will be released October 3rd, but what they did tell us was that it will be bigger and better than ever and will be featured in one of the main galleries. I can't wait to see what themes they will challenge us with this time. I'm also itching to buy a new camera....
